Patient Bulk Statement Upload

Overview

The Patient Bulk Statement Upload feature allows users to upload a single PDF containing multiple patient statements generated from their EMR. Curogram automatically parses the PDF and sends individual payment requests to the patients identified within the file.

1. Prerequisites (One-Time Setup)

Important: Before a client can use this feature, their specific EMR statement format must be mapped by the Integration team.

  1. Request Samples: Practices should provide sample patient statements directly generated from their electronic medical record (EMR).

  2. Internal Formatting: You can submit this sample patient statements to support@curogram.com and indicate your interest in using this feature.

  3. Configuration: The team will analyze and map the specific format of the client's EMR.

  4. Activation: Once the format is configured, the client is cleared to use the bulk upload feature.

2. How to Use the Feature

Once the setup is complete, the client can follow these steps to send bulk payment requests:

Step 1: Generate Statements

  • The client must generate a single PDF from their EMR containing statements for multiple patients (e.g., all patients from the previous month).

  • Example: A PDF containing statements for patients "Michael" and "Curogram Test."

Step 2: Upload to Curogram

  • Navigate to the Bulk Upload section in Curogram.

  • Click the upload area and select the PDF generated in Step 1.

  • Confirmation: Upon completion, a pop-up notification will appear stating: "The file has been successfully uploaded."

Step 3: Automatic Processing

  • Curogram automatically parses the PDF.

  • Payment requests are generated and sent to all valid patients found within the uploaded document.

3. Monitoring and Reporting

Clients can track the status of uploads and individual messages in two areas:

A. Settings > Payment Statement

Use this section to monitor the bulk upload logs. This includes:

  • Upload Status: Verification that the PDF was received.

  • Success Rate: How many patients were successfully imported.

  • Failure Rate: How many statements failed to import.

B. Payment Request Tab

Use this tab to verify the actual communication with the patient:

  • Check if the payment request message was successfully sent to the specific patient's phone number/app.
