Rating Reviews for Location-less Telemedicine Visits (Default Rating URL)
Telemedicine visits often do not have a physical location assigned. Previously, Curogram’s Rating Request system required a location rating URL to send review requests—resulting in telemedicine appointments being excluded.
This update introduces a Default Rating URL, ensuring that all appointments—including those with no location—receive a valid review link.
Why This Matters
Before this update:
-
Rating Reviews required a location with a valid rating URL.
-
Telemedicine visits frequently lacked a location, so no review request could be sent.
-
Providers without a location-based rating link were left out of feedback collection.
With this update:
-
Telemedicine visits always have a fallback review URL, improving review volume.
-
Practices ensure all appointments contribute to their online reputation, even when no location is involved.
-
Automation becomes more consistent and reliable.
How It Works
The system will use the Default Rating URL when any of the following conditions occur:
A. Provider has NO Review URL AND the provider’s Location is empty
-
Then the system checks rules B and C below.
B. The appointment has NO location assigned
C. The appointment HAS a location, but the location’s Rating URL is empty
If any of the above are true → Curogram uses the Default Rating URL for rating requests.
HOW TO SET IT UP
-
In Curogram App Dashboard, navigate to the Settings tab.
-
Open Patient Care Journey
-
Scroll to Rating Request

-
Locate the new field: Default Rating URL
-
Enter the URL you want to use for telemedicine and location-less appointments.

-
Save your changes.
